The Board is recognizing the following employees :
Joyce Ogami, a nurse at Stroger Hospital, who has founded a health clinic in her native Liberia; and Dr. Abbie Winfield, an Emergency Medicine Physician, who has been named “Doctor of the Year.”

The Metrics Review Committee did not meet in April, but is presenting its Managed Care report directly to the Board.

Managed Care Highlights:
- “County Care” is a healthcare plan for Medicaid recipients. Membership has increased to 32.4%.
- Average enrollment: 2 years
- Plan ranks 3rd in the state.

The CEO is giving an update on FY 2023-2025 Strategic Plan:
- Has administered 1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
